GRAHAM TOWNSHIP BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

DECEMBER 12, 2011 REGULAR MEETING 7:00 PM


Chairman Sam Carr called the Regular Meeting of the Graham Township Board of Supervisors to order with the salute to the flag. A roll call of members showed Supervisors Ivan Kyler and Steve Condo were also present.


Public Participation: In compliance with “The Sunshine Law” Chairman Carr offered the first few minutes of the meeting to those wishing to address the board.


Minutes: The minutes for November 14th were read. Kyler made a motion to approve the minutes, Condo seconded and the motion carried with all voting yes.


Treasurer’s Report: Condo made a motion to approve the October Treasurer's report, Kyler seconded and the motion carried with all voting yes. Condo made a motion to approve the November Treasurer's report, Kyler seconded and the motion carried with all voting yes.

Township Reports


A. Subdivisions / Development

a. Surveyor Bob Shiroke left the plans for the Bradley and Annette Pelton Subdivision for Joel Albert to look over.

B. Solicitor's Report

a. John Sobel discussed the citation that will be filed at the Magistrate’s office for a residence in Shady Acres.

b. Mr. Sobel discussed the cover letter for a road docket to be filed at the court house.





    C. Permits Issued

      a. Building (0)

      b. Sewage (0)

      c. Driveway (0)

      d. Other (3) 1- Hauling for Courtney and Dan Carns.

                  2- Agricultural Buildings for Edward Orwick

      D. Engineer's Report - not present

E. Road master’s Report

a. There are still residents hauling overloaded trucks on the township roads, without a bond.

b. There were directional signs torn out, along township roads, valued at $1000.

F. Neighborhood Crime Watch

a. It was reported that guns and coins were stolen from a resident's home.

G. Big Run Park is closed for the season.


Old Business

There is no old business.


Unpaid Bills

Condo made a motion to pay the bills, Kyler seconded and the motion carried with all voting yes.


New Business

a. Condo made a motion to advertise the Speed Limit Ordinance #2-11, Kyler seconded and the motion was carried with all voting yes.

b. Condo made a motion to advertise the Street Excavation Ordinance #3-11, Kyler seconded and the motion was carried with all voting yes.

c. Condo made a motion to adopt the 2012 budget with no tax increase, Kyler seconded and the motion carried with all voting yes.

    d. Carr and Secretary Linda Bowes signed Tax Certificates for 2012, stating Per Capita rate $5.00; Occupation rate $5.00 and 3 mills for the Township Real Estate Tax. All remained the same for 2012.


Note: This was Chairman Carr's last meeting. The supervisors shook hands and the meeting was adjourned.

Adjournment

Kyler made a motion to adjourn at 7:25 PM, Condo seconded and the motion was carried with voting yes.
